Real Madrid,Barcelona,Atletico Madrid,Manchester United,Manchester City,Chelsea,Arsenal,Tottenham Hostspur,Liverpool,Juventus,Fc Internazionale and AC Milan are the founding members of the European Super  League.This competition if Fifa and Uefa will open the road will have 20 squads,five of them will qualify form the previous season results.

Two groups of ten will play during the season.Three best teams will qualify to the quarterfinals,and the two remaing place will come from fourth and fifth place.Then quarterfinals ,semifinals will be played in a two leg game.Final will be placed in a neutral stadium.

Will this impact in the Uefa current compeditions?Probably yes,less effort will be eventually in Uefa Champions League and Europa League,since the sum earned only for the entrance in the Super League is estimated around 250 million Euros.

Uefa officially condemded this iniciative .This  isn’t presented for the first time ,with the first proposal back in the 1998 by Media Partners ,but Uefa moved to Champions League format…The Super League seems to be scheduled for next year.Uefa just yesterday was very clear ,the answer is NO.Here is a part of their article:

“If this were to happen, we wish to reiterate that we – UEFA, the English FA, RFEF, FIGC, the Premier League, LaLiga, Lega Serie A, but also FIFA and all our member associations – will remain united in our efforts to stop this cynical project, a project that is founded on the self-interest of a few clubs at a time when society needs solidarity more than ever.
