Cavani decreases Tottenham hopes for Europe.
A match of the ex-es, Mourinho and Ole worked together at United ,two teams that know each-other very well,a game that was in the same level for two teams ,but saw United escape with the three points.City is way ahead,but in the other side for Tottenham that means far from Europe, to think they were leading the premier for some time.Time changes,Tottenham won 6-1 in Old Trafford ,but it is United which is chasing the leaders City at the moment.
Into the match.
Tottenham starts in the attack the big one of the sunday,getting a corner in the second minute.Their start was paled.Manchester United start to push forward.Dier blocks a shot from Rashford and two minutes later Scott McTominay collects the first yellow of the game.In the middle of the first half Cavani scores but sees VAR to cancel his net due to a foul of McTominay to Son.
Five minutes before the end it is exactly Son ,who opens the deadlock with a easy goal ,half empty netted .Moura gets a ball from Kane and passes horizontally for Son ,who scores.United aren’t happy with the first half especially after the effort they put in.
Second half starts and it is another story.It starts intense for United this time and Rashford has a chance but could not convert it.Lloris comes with a brilliant save in the 55-th minute after a McTominay shot in the entrance of the zone.Second save against Cavani two minutes later ,results deadly with Fred who push the ball in goal.Level with two empty net goals.
Son has another chance in a good position but his shot is saved by Henderson.Lloris to the rescue once again,this time is Fernandez who sees himself denied a goal.One minute later in the 64 minute ,Mourinho decides to interfere. Sissoko out,Lo Celso in.The game is balanced in the next minutes and maybe the game would probably produced a tie.Maguire gets a yellow for a foul against Kane.In the 74-rth Kane is dangerous .This time Henderson stops a diagonal.
In the 78 minute Mourinho decides to interfere again.This time he makes his team more attacking,Ndombele out,Lamela in.This resulted wrong.One minute later Cavani doubles to completely push away Tottenham from european road.His header turned the match in United’s favour after the Greenwood’s cross.
Tottenham is entirely in attack .Bale is in for Moura.Homeside gets a corner and Cavani deviate a ball in his own post to deny Sissoko a clear chance.Six minutes added on.Tottenham searched the equaliser but United scored one more.Greenwood with an assist in his chest beats Lloris in his near post.
United keep themselves in a good shape chasing City ,but their hopes remain low fot title race.Tottenham is beaten, Mourinho saw his pupil got the lesson. Solskjaer confirms himself in the high track in the second part of the season and keeps an eye to City.Who knows.Perhaps….
